Medical Marijuana: Differences Between Cannabis Sativa & Indica

Unfortunately, several marijuana users simply don’t care what they are rolling up. They just enjoy smoking cannabis and scoff at those who show off their fancy named bags of, “kryto-chrono-chronolite,” as comedian Kat William’s jokingly calls it in this popular stand-up routine.  In fact, a majority of smokers in states that haven’t legalized medical marijuana could care less if the buds they are smoking are Sativa or Indica, and some don’t even know the difference. While reflecting on our teenage years, we realized that we never had a choice in the matter. We were restrained to having to sneak around and grab whatever we could find through friends; which was most of the time unnamed and of low quality.

When it comes to marijuana, there are two main types, or classifications, that make up a majority of all marijuana strains that appear on dispensary menus. These two types are popularly known as Cannabis Sativa and Cannabis Indica.

Golf Boys Nail It With "2.Oh"

Nearly two years in hibernation, the Golf Boys are back. PGA Tour stars Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan hit it big in June 2011 with "Oh Oh Oh," which has been viewed more than 5 million times on YouTube.

Now the quintuplets are back with there continuing stardom in "2.Oh" recently released last week.

Colorado House Judiciary Committee Passes Marijuana DUI Bill – House Bill 1114

Colorado’s House Judiciary Committee passed House Bill 1114 in an 11-0 vote on Tuesday night. Under the new bill, drivers caught with 5 nanograms of THC in their blood stream would be considered to be ‘driving under the influence of marijuana’.

Although this is not the first time a marijuana DUI bill has been introduced to the Colorado legislature, previous attempts have been criticized and shot down. Opponents have argued that the 5-nanogram limit is too strict for regular pot smokers, especially medical marijuana patients who rely on the plant as a daily medicine.

Some argue there is no way to tell whether someone is too high to be behind the wheel, and the limit is completely subjective. Tyron Link, a medical marijuana patient in Colorado, told The Denver Channel, “It doesn’t make me impaired now if I haven’t smoked since yesterday. We’re not even going by scientific evidence at all. We’re just saying, ‘Oh, lets pick 5 nanograms.’”

Harlem Shake - Miami Heat

Courtesy of the Miami Heat Youtube page is the "NEW" Harlem Shake video which includes the 2011-2012 NBA Champions - MIAMI HEAT. The video was done last week. All of the players in the video really put their best effort in the doing the Harlem Shake. The players spoke about doing a video and one of the players had the idea that everyone needed a costume of some sort. You will see such characters like Super Mario, Jabbawockeez, Mime, King James, and many more colorful costumes. Give yourself a two minute break to have a laugh!!!
