A recent study was completed by Colorado Futures Center at CSU that determined by 2014 about 12% of Colorado's population will be buying and using marijuana legally. This number would equivalate to each individual purchasing at most 3.5 ounces a year which in turn would be about 142,000 Ilbs. or 71 tons. (or 2 million ounces)
